📚 Book recommendation! 📖 Trieste, northern Italy, was occupied by some of the nastiest Nazis prior to May 1945, when it was taken by Yugoslav partisans and, a day later, the 2nd New Zealand Division. The 40 tense days they shared the city were one of the earliest crises of the Cold War. Into that crazy-charged chapter of history, Anthony Byrt inserts an 💥EXPLOSIVE🧨 and cinematic spy thriller. My review is in @nzlistenermag (and my Grandad Tom, captured at Corinth Canal and imprisoned at Stalag XVIII, Wolfsberg, Austria, is in slide 3.) Thanks @currentartmagazine for letting me contribute this piece on Chinese art baddies at Sydney's magnificent @whiterabbitgallery 🐯 🔫 🧋 https://www.instagram.com/p/DWLr645E5Q6/ In 2002, with digital screens becoming ubiquitous, Kohei Nawa began his PixCell series: sculptures that use glass orbs to represent both the cells that build life and the mosaic of pixels through which we see the world. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNJ_69ZTZm5/ Party pie on you Learned this move from Google maps reviewer Tony Ruan. Wish I had his form! I don't know when Adam Scott and I were severed but I know when I found out; it was at a bar in New York in 2016. The premise of "Severance" gets to the ways we partition ourselves like an electrified acupuncture needle. Even if season two jumps the shark, I'm riding with it. A package from @monamuseum! 📦 Celebrating the Ladies Lounge Supreme Court triumph with green velvet gloves, sparkling riesling, and a bespoke fragrance, The Verdict. Good to see someone in the art world is actually having a good time 😂 🍾🥂
